BAR Chapter 22 · Area III · Blueprint III.A.5–9

The basic statements are only part of a city's annual report. The notes explain the policies and break down capital assets and debt; MD&A tells the story in plain words; the budgetary comparison shows whether the council's budget held; other required supplementary information tracks pensions, retiree health and infrastructure; and the reporting entity rules decide which related organizations are in the report and how. The Blueprint asks you to recall each of these. We stay with the City of Riverton as Dana and Leo assemble the year 2 ACFR.
