Where can you take the EA exam outside the US?

Not at overseas test centers. Under PSI, international testing will be remote and proctored only, and it is currently delayed.
Older guides list Prometric centers in cities such as Hyderabad, Bangalore, New Delhi, Manila, London, Toronto, Dubai and Tokyo. That information is out of date. From the 2026 to 2027 window, the exam is delivered by PSI.
The current position
- International testing for the SEE will only be available remotely, with a proctor.
- Scheduling and testing for international candidates is delayed, and the IRS has not set a new start date.
- Remote testing is currently only available to candidates physically located within the United States.
What to do now
- Prepare and get your PTIN in place, so you can book as soon as international testing opens.
- Check that your computer, camera and internet connection will meet PSI's remote testing rules when they are published.
- If you will travel to the US, you can sit at a PSI center or remotely while you are there.
